Static electricity

Static electricity is a type of electricity that does not move.

Dynamic electricity is a flow of electricity through a conductive material.

Definition

The energy produced within electrical charges manifests itself in four forms: physical, luminous, mechanical and thermal.

Origin

It was discovered by the English chemist and physicist Michael Faraday (1791-1867) when, by moving a magnet through a closed circuit of conducting wire, an electric current was generated.
